Why do we ask for postcodes?

We collect postcodes for two reasons.

  1. To ensure we have no duplicates in our samples as we occasionally use multiple sources for our survey participants.
  2. From time to time we can append data to survey data via postcode matching. This is always done to deepen the insight of the survey data. An example of this practice is appending Consumer Classification data such as Mosaic or Acorn. Data analysis is always at an aggregate level and never at an individual level.

If you prefer not to provide a postcode, that is acceptable and does not exclude you from participating in our surveys.
